Prayer Angels for the Military Wednesday, December 15 Operation Thank Our Troops – Care packages for our Military Beginning this Sunday, BethlehemSCV will be collecting items for Hygiene Packs and Fun Packs. Visit the Connection Center on Sunday for more information on the items you can donate. Items need to be returned by Sunday, December 12. On Wednesday, December 15, we will meet at 6:00 for pizza and fellowship and then assemble the care packages. We will also spend time writing letters and coloring pictures to encourage our troops and thank them for their service. Advent Sermon Series begins November 28 Advent: The season right before Christmas. A season full of lights, fireplaces, hot cocoa, family gatherings and so much more. Yet even in this season full of joy and cheer, it’s still easy to feel that things aren’t as magical as they should be. The world is still fundamentally broken. We don’t find hope, peace, love, and joy… we find despair, anger, hatred, and misery. So what do we do with this world’s brokenness? How do we navigate this blend of both broken and beautiful?
