The Book of Esther, famous for being the only book of the Bible that does not contain the name of God, has a wonderful Messianic promise. Come and celebrate its fulfillment in Y’shua, Jesus. Esther 9:22 tells us to bring gifts of food for one another, and gifts for the poor. So bring something to share (potluck) and a canned good or an offering to benefit a local food bank. We’ll make sure there’s Hamantashen* for all. Enjoy the Purim Spiel…the Book of Esther…with stomping, noisemakers, and incredible acting from our melodramatic children (both young and old)! *Hamantashen (Haman’s hat): traditional three-cornered pastry with a filling (such as poppy seeds or jam) eaten to signify the “gobbling up” of Haman.
